This privacy policy applies to the Price Tracker app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by CeylonApp (Naleem Mohamed Zabith) as a Free/Freemium ad-supported service. This service is provided "AS IS".

1. Data Collection and Usage

The Application is designed to respect your privacy. All of your core app data—including the specific products you track, your price history, and your settings—is stored locally entirely on your own device's internal storage. We do not maintain any centralized servers that collect your search habits or tracking lists.

2. Third-Party Services

While the Application itself does not collect personal data, we utilize secure, industry-standard third-party services that may collect information used to identify you, provide advertisements, or process payments:

• Google AdMob: We use AdMob to display banner and rewarded video ads. AdMob may automatically collect device-specific information (such as your IP address, Android Advertising ID, and device metrics) to serve personalized or non-personalized ads based on your location and settings. • Google Play Billing: We use Google's official in-app purchases ecosystem to process payments for the "Premium Upgrade". Google handles all financial transactions securely. We do not have access to your credit card information or billing address.

3. Internet Connectivity

To function correctly, the Application requires active Internet access. The Application performs automated web requests (often in the background) directly to third-party eCommerce websites (such as Amazon, Daraz, AliExpress, eBay, Temu) to retrieve updated pricing data.

• These automated requests originate directly from your device.
• No personal data or browsing history is sent to these eCommerce websites as part of these price checks.

4. Permissions Required

The Application requests the following permissions on your device:

• Internet Access: Necessary to retrieve the latest prices from online stores and to serve advertisements.
• Notifications: Used to alert you locally on your device when a tracked product's price drops to your target threshold.
• Ignore Battery Optimizations (Optional): Used purely to ensure the background price-syncing engine runs reliably without being killed by the Android OS.

5. Children’s Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to take necessary actions.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
